About Bernard

I am a Montana based full-stack software developer and entrepreneur.

I began programming in 2016 as a contract web developer for an artificial intelligence grain distribution startup. Later in the summer of the following year I did a 180 and got into native mobile development building a walking tours app, adding in self guided augmented reality tours for the City of Helena tourism department.

After a brief stint as a freelancer, I went ahead and founded my first company, Gold Block Chain. GBC was named after the Gold Block in helena, and the recently published article that companies adding Block Chain to their name would have stock prices shoot up. Jokes aside we later rebranded to Gold Block Development.

Through GBD I have been able to work on a wealth of projects ranging from websites for local businesses to custom services for a Fortune 500 company.

Through my work I have found a passion in working with fast paced startups. I now offer my experience as a software engineer and consultant for founders looking to bring their company for ideation to MVP.
